WORRALL INJURY BLOW

LEICESTER have been dealt a major injury blow ahead of their big weekend.

Richie Worrall, one of the big hitters for the Watling JCB Lions, has suffered a broken ankle in four places after racing at Poole last night.

Boss Stewart Dickson has wasted no time in booking British icon Chris Harris to replace him at Redcar tonight and another vastly experienced rider, Rory Schlein, deputises in tomorrow's home clash with the Bears.

Dickson said: "You never know what's around the corner in this sport and we really feel for Richie who has been a great signing for us.

"We thank both Chris and Rory for agreeing to stand in at such short notice."

All at Leicester Speedway wish Richie well in his recovery and we hope to see him back at the Paul Chapman and Sons Arena soon.
